IHG is Intercontinental Hotel Group which is the parent company of Crown Plaza. I assume that IHG has decided to spread the marketing to not just the Crown Plaza Hotel to the others in that group. Granted some of the hotel holdings are not where I would stay but other is have stayed at many of times.
