I checked these part numbers and the harness gives me 3 options..
1. Windshield - Inside mirrors - Mirror inside - W/o remote
W/o compass - Coupe 2008 - 2011
2. Windshield - Inside mirrors - Mirror inside - W/auto dim
W/auto dim - Coupe 2008 - 2010
3. Windshield - Inside mirrors - Mirror inside - W/o compass
W/auto dim - Convertible 2008 - 2011
and the mirror gives me 2 options...
1. Windshield - Inside mirrors - Mirror inside - W/o remote
W/compass - Coupe 2008 - 2010
2. Windshield - Glass - Mirror assy - W/electrochromic
W/compass 2008 - 2009
My problem is where it says no remote. I am doing this only to have garage door opening capabilities. I assume no remote means it wont support that function. Am I wrong? Then I assumed if it didnt say "w/o remote" it would support, but it does say "w/ auto dim" so leaving out "w/ remote" doesnt signify it does support it.
Did I just read too much into it and all of them will work? The options do all share the same part number.
Finally I would like to bypass auto dim and only gain remote access if possible. Compass is just a bonus.
