+1. I remember that thread too. I thought Leipzig had to send the 1M to //M GmbH in Garching (~410 kms away!) and they took the car apart and painted it. Then the car went back to Leipzig for final production. I thought someone said the special color costs four or five times the normal price of 5K euros for Individual paint.
