Volume of the Borla compared to the Berk Street is very, very similar. With the secondary kittens in place the Borla was a touch quieter, with the N55 mids in place it's the same, possibly ever so slightly louder...
Surprisingly similar to each other!
Do you have a /good/ set of headphones or ear buds? You don't get the deep sounds through crappy laptop or phone speakers... I have a video from when the system was installed and was still on the N54 mids with the secondary kittens.
