I got a 1 meter piece of threaded rod, cut it into four pieces, put a jack under the diff, replaced one bolt at a time with threaded rod, nuts, and washers, and dropped the whole shebang. Also, while I was working on things I just let the sub-frame sit on the nuts and washers at the ends of the threaded rod and moved the jack out of the way.
