M1 nameplate
I have a feeling BMW will resurrect the M1 nameplate for the 1 coupe — even though it has been used on a different BMW before — and not go with the tii. I can't remember which auto mag but one claims to have insider info that the M version of the 1 Series coupe will have a four-cylinder (probably turbo) to keep weight down.
BMW has been full of surprises lately, so it should be interesting to see! The LA and Detroit auto shows are comin' up!
