Did you check the Fórum?
There is a member who even has a pretty recent thread about the pros of living in Florida! He is from Miami and has a 1M, just check the most recent threads and you will see yourself. Send him a PM, not everyone visits the Fórum frequently.
There are other 1M owners as members from Miami but I don't want to name them without their approval, they should and sure will pop in when they notice your call.
