You need to do the subframes. With an m3 subframe the front will bolt up vs having to make a custom set of motor mounts and modifying a non m subframe. The rear subframe also grants you the use of an oem m3 LSD and suspension. You only need to modify the driveshaft by shortening it. |
I think I will go to the custom motor mounts ! I like the idea of this car with narrow axles and a big v8. In addition, the S65 is not that heavier than the N54, could be a very interesting project !
