For CarPlay or Android Auto, you just run the ZLINK app, then plug your phone into the Joying's USB port. That's the easiest way to run maps because it will use the data connection on your phone.

If you want to run maps directly on the Joying headunit, it will need a mobile internet connection, e.g. if your cellphone plan allows it, you can start a wi-fi hotspot on your phone. Or, you can download offline maps.

Just setup the Google Play app store with an account and get Google Maps or Waze.
