I'm about a year out from purchasing a car, but have started the search knowing it's going to be difficult to find what I'm looking for. I've tried AutoTempest, but thought it was a little hard to navigate. I've been searching this forum and CarGurus pretty regularly and check BMWCCA's website occasionally. I'm still just casually looking, but will get more serious at the beginning of next year and will probably put out a few WTB posts at that time.
As far as the 2-series, I really want to stick with something that's naturally aspirated- just a personal preference- that's why a 128i is at the top of the list; I'm also considering an E46 330i, but that getting to be an 'old car' at this point.
