Delivery Date: I DUNNO!! Sales people said they'd get back to me with some info. Should be REALLLYYY close!

One odd fact is that the 800 number status has fallen SEVERELY behind, or so I hope. BMW website tracks it at the 'Finishing Touches' stage starting on 8/2 so that seems to track on time with what my dealer said. The 800 number says it's something like "At the port of exit awaiting a shipping vessel." Boy do I want that lady to be wrong.
The 800 # is actually accurate. "Finishing Touches" just means it's either at the port being processed or trucked to you.

When 800# turns back to "at port of exit awaiting a shipping vessel" that's code for it's waiting for a truck. So, don't worry, it hasn't reverted back to waiting for a boat status, the vessel is your truck. =P

Once your sales guy gets word it has been released to the trucking carrier, then you're real close and probably a couple of days via truck I guess to Seattle.
