check out the 1/4 mile times on the new 911 turbo 997.2 w/pdk... it's substantially faster than the manual... 11.0@128 stock. However, a skilled manual driver could probably drive it just as fast on a track.... walter rohrl said he could drive the manual round the Ring just as fast as pdk. Dual clutch is definately faster for us non pros though round a track.

Manual people just like shifting! I'm too lazy on a daily driver.
