the 3D Design has tips that are basically mirror images of the stock tips. The Hartge system is a system that relocated the tips towards the center (kind of like the E92 M3 look).
the Hartge system will only work with the Hartge rear diffuser. Whereas the 3D Design will work with the 3D Design diffuser or you can modify your stock diffuser for the passenger side tips.
