Yes its the same but it isn't
The new revision of the box is the strongest
The box from 2010-2012 n55 and 2016 is the same but the internals are slightly changed
So if you buy a second hand box your most probably buying the same weak box these cars came out with prior to 2015
They upgraded the synchros in the later boxes as they where having a major problem
especially the 2 series I've read that some cars being on their third box
