I'd put more effort into cooling your oil. 223 degrees isn't very hot for coolant. 288 degrees is extremely hot for oil.

That said, I'd do the CSF radiator over trying to retrofit the PPK cooler. Doing the PPK cooler involves changing out cooling lines that run around and behind the engine. I was looking into doing it on my 128i.

Evolution Racewerks has their Sports and Competition series oil cooler upgrades, which have a lot of users here. You can also build your own with some AN line, fittings, and a bigger cooler.
