Some days I love the DCT (jury is still out in traffic) and other days I want a manual. I miss the feeling of a perfect heal/toe and manually blipping the throttle rev matching.

Yesterday my outbound trip to Louisville was great. No issues in cooler mornings. Coming home I got stuck in three traffic jams and getting the DCT to move when I pressed on the go pedal reminds me that the car forgets where it left off. Lag and then a burst of go. It's not turbo lag. It's just that fly by wire throttle tip in.

DCT is good for most people I'd say. Let's hope these things last.
