FS: 2010 128i MSport
Hey all – EDIT: Officially for sale + price drop! Full photo album available on request. Putting out feelers for the possible sale of my 2010 128i MSport. Absolutely love the car but with the recent acquisitions of a dedicated track car and an X5 I don’t want to see it sit. I’ve had the car for about 4 years with its time split between Virginia and NYC (currently in VA). It’s always been garage kept and the bulk of the miles have been for travel between VA and NY. I’ve also done about 10 HPDE events in it without issue. Happy to provide further details for anyone interested, but the high level is as follows: Overview: ~152k miles (bought at ~118k) Alpine white, black sensatec interior 6MT + MSport Package Manual Seats, No Nav, Has sunroof Modification highlights: BMWP exhaust BMWP strut brace Blackline tail lights M3 control arms TCKline Coilovers front, Bilstein B8 kit rear, Swift springs all around CDV Delete Main electronic nannies decoded (brake overheating, brake precompression, e-diff, etc) 135i 18” daily wheels + Hankook Ventus V12s Sparco 17” track wheels + Hankook RS4s Maintenance highlights: Wheel speed sensors @ 149k Water pump + thermostat + mickey flange @ 147k Valve cover gasket @ 137k Spark plugs + coil packs @ 123k Oil changes every ~6k miles Brake fluid flush 2x/year Known issues: Slight weep from rear main seal area (maybe a drip or two if sat for a while) Small clear coat peel on spoiler A few rock chips on front bumper Small dent in hood from the hood falling on a wrench (still kicking myself for this) Carfax shows a minor accident before my ownership. From what I can tell driver's side headlight was replaced but nothing else. Last edited by odiford; 03-17-2025 at 11:53 AM.. |

You might consider removing the strut bar and performance exhaust, and selling separately. A pain, I know, but your market of buyers who would appreciate this as it sits is quite small with all the awesome road/track and BMP stuff. Your build is also your build, and others might not want the coilovers, or the wheels for example.
I'm just saying, it might be worth reverting closer to stock, and lowering your price to open up the pool of buyers. I'm sure you'd recoup the difference on the parts. That being said, I'd love first dibs on the exhaust if you do sell separately. Also in Virginia. Good luck! |

yeah that's good feedback, and I'll clarify here for others' visibility that I do have the stock-equivalent suspension still (Bilstein B4) and would be willing to swap it back. Strut brace & exhaust are also easy enough to revert. Same with Blackline tails...

Interested in the strut brace and exhaust should you want to sell separately... I agree though, I think you will open yourself up to more buyers (and get more money) if you sell separately and lower the price of the car accordingly. GLWS!

![]() Every 128i should come with a PE. Definitely keep that on the car, if the buyer doesn't like how it sounds, then he's not the buyer for this car. PE holds value better than bitcoin ![]() |

Where is the car currently? I am in New Hampshire, so this might be untenable, if in Northern VA or even NYC.
The heated seats work, correct? My track car is in project status for this year, so looking for a street/track car. The 1 series reminds me of the E36 M3 I had for 20 years, so contemplating 128i, 135i, M235i or maybe even M240i. Thank you. |

Hey there, she's beautiful! I'd like to see the full pictures however I don't have permission to DM since I just created an account. I'm torn between spending the extra money on a low miles versus a high milage that I wouldn't care so much to track.

I reached out a couple of weeks ago. Here’s the album he shared with me: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...gL?usp=sharing
He’s been non-responsive since. GLWS. |
