I think i clicked back and forth on the two of them about a hundred times before i settled on Le Mans. Seemed like a little "truer" blue as the montego seemed to have a touch more red which gave it a hint of purple....if any of that makes sense. lol but thanks for the welcome and thumbsup. |

I'm in Illesheim, about 45 minutes away from you. However, I'm deployed at the moment. Should be back in the late April time frame in which my suspension and brakes will get done and I will be then be putting lots of gas to good use

Changed my order to SGM/CR
I got to see a montego blue car today with oyster interior and it made me want the coral red interior more, but i didnt want blue with red so that meant a new exterior color as well. SGM just popped out when i saw it. |

You really should consider looking for a 2011 135, lemans blue, excellent condition and huge price savings over a new 2012...I just happen to have one looking for a new home...already got racing brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, carbon fiber front and rear spoilers, a fire extinguisher..clear bra and tint plus M3 front sway...great mods and great car waiting for someone who knows a good mod and deal....... Sorry, I digressed...SGM and CR are beautiful |

My delivery date is 19 DEC!
Got everything ready to go, went down and talked through some final details. Like having the black grills on when i go to take delivery as well as not putting holes in my front bumper! lol They had an AW w/ Black Leather 135i in the showroom when i went down tonight and i couldnt stop staring at it. So glad i decided to with AW. It was a last minute change as i literally got the VIN the next day which meant no more changes. |

anyone ever dealt with the dealers over here in regard to them putting a front license plate frame on when you specifically and adamantly asked them not to?
i really am kind of peeved that they did this when i told them not to. my salesperson sent me this picture as a teaser and i cant stop staring that that blob of plastic on my front bumper. monday is delivery day, so we will see what they say when i request a new bumper cover. |

That sucks!!! Sounds like something Bavarian would do. I would definitely ask for a new bumper and see how they like it. Maybe if they have to put a new bumper cover on they will not be so quick to ignore a customer's wishes!! Good luck

I wouldn't ask the sales person, I would request to see the sales manager and in front of the sales person who you stated that to, request a new front bumper cover since you SPECIFICALLY STATED to HIM NOT TO make holes in the front bumper cover.

To the OP: Ohh the cruel irony of seeing it parked under the tree like that. What a kick in the balls, I'd be pissed. But I'd first give your sales guy a chance to make good. Perhaps somebody disregarded his instructions? Either way I'd approach like the military and try to handle it at the lowest level. Of course if you don't like the results then move up the change. I'm sure he will appreciate the chance to do his own damage control before his supervisor gets involved. Good Luck I hope it works out.

Thanks for the kind words. I do have intentions of going at this in a very tactful and professional way. My dealer is a she, and she actually is the mil supervisor i think. So maybe she can make this right beyond just offering some shitty plugs.
If she doesnt make it right by going the nice route then ill start to look at other avenues of approach and get this done. I am on some other forums too and they are saying that there is no reason the dealer shouldnt give me a new bumper cover. People have been saying that they have had it happen to them with other makes of cars and the dealers made things right. We will see tomorrow though, ill definitely update with the results. |
