San Diego Dealers for service
Hi, I recently purchased a 2010 CPO 135i conv. Which dealer in San Diego has provided good service?
Thanks. |

BMW of South County (El Cajon)
Ask for Nick Owen as your tech. He happens to be the current president of the BMWCCA San Diego chapter. I live in Scripps Ranch, but I take my car to him for service. I'm glad you are happy with them, but I have had nothing but bad experiences with them. I personally stay far away from them. |

Be careful with BMW Encinitas, the service department is different that it was two years ago. I've had some issues with car condition and a few "bent wheel" diagnosis with no problem present. I'd recommend BMW San Diego on Clairemont Mesa Blvd.

Just sharing my exp...
Brake light cracked, out of warranty, so I purchased the part myself and got a quote from both BMW of San Diego and BMW of Encinitas for the install (Labor)... BMW of San Diego 1.5-2 hours of labor $240 Bmw of Encinitas 1-1.5 hours of labor $135 Odd one dealership would charge $100 more to do the same thing... I never been to South County, but I might try them in the future. |

After reading all of the posts, I still prefer BMW of San Diego. I believe the differences in service recieved is that almost no one establishes a relationship with a service writer. I have been with my service writer for over 10 years! I realize the service should be good no matter what, but anything made by man will brake. Customers could be a little more understanding. As far as cost of service, high end products such as BMW's do have high end service costs.
