Bolted Tires; Anyone running them on an E8x?
I'm curious as to,
- What suspension - wheel diameter (I assume 17's) - how many bolts - what kind of power - how much abuse I'm thinking of making up a set of 17's. My only real concern, right now, is the oil cooler. I can get a pair of new front fenders for $120, and I might just to beat and tear them up. Leave stock in the garage to save them. I don't think rear should be of much concern. PFA |

So you guys don't like to party?
Well, I do. Tires are a 215-45/17. Rims will be Sport Edition A7's; 17 x 7.5, ET 32 (E9x offset). Bolts are 5/16" x 1.25". Last edited by iminhell1; 01-06-2019 at 02:23 PM.. |

So this endeavor was a complete win.
I did not have to modify or alter anything from my street setup,,, Koni FSD with Eibach Pro springs, f/r bumpstops trimed to 2 lobes (4 stock). So I'm about 2" lower front and stock rear height. Alignment pins removed and full camber (M3 spec alignment), stock control arms all around. *** What I'm getting at here is, in 100% stock form you should have no issues *** Last edited by iminhell1; 01-29-2019 at 01:38 PM.. |
