My Rieger Rear
Hi all.
I thought I'd post up one of the many new purchases I've made for my e82; my Rieger diffuser. It hasn't had much publicity yet but it's another diffuser option for us. This is fresh on the market and comes in a few options. Flat black, gloss black or carbon look, with or without mesh. You can also choose quad or OE tailpipe configuration. I chose flat black because my car is BSM so I figured gloss black wouldn't have looked right, it would have blended too much. I also chose to avoid carbon look as it was too light in colour; I believe the carbon look is achieved by a hydro dip. The flat black is somewhere between to two although I'd perhaps like it a shade or two lighter. I'm considering two options which are to mix up my own Plastidip colour and spray it or get a shop to paint it permanently Sparkling Graphite. What do you think? I'll add some more pics soon, as soon as the sun shows up again and preferably after all my parts are on the car; I have a huge parts bin waiting to go on the car on a day when I can lay in the floor without getting a soaking wet back. Enjoy for now. New pics 29/04/13 Last edited by Cozy; 04-29-2013 at 02:03 PM.. |

Looks great.
If you are curious about the piece, look through this thread; http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=824578. Reiger themselves will not ship to the US, but we have contacted a lot of their US retailers and most have come back and said they can get it in and ship it to you for ~$400-$450. Which is not as cheap as say the eBay diffuser, however the quality and fit of this one is far beyond those. |

It looks killer! Looking forward to some US retailers to carry this and not try to make so much money off each one. Looks to be $415-450 in the US unless you get it from a friend in GER.

I purchased it from a business here who has links with Rieger. Rieger won't ship international which is a shame so a dealer is always going to take a cut. I battled hard with them both, struck a deal and here it is. Go for a US retailer approved by Rieger, will be much easier.

I'd be happy to ship for you guys but it comes in at $300 shipped to me so if I include then shipping it out to you, there's your $400. |

For $358 I'd buy it. Group buy maybe.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
What do you think about the respray? I'm seriously tempted to get it fine in Sparkling Graphite, nice and glossy. Cakeater, totally agree. I've got a BMWP spoiler to go on but even I'm considering body colouring it, spraying it the same colour as the diffuser if I spray that or just plastidipping both a dark grey and glossifying. |

Best looking diffuser by far, and not a bad price. I think this is the one for me. Count me in for a group buy!
How is the fitment? Any issues with install? |
