Tire size help
Hey everyone, I blew out my front rft on my 135i. I have stock wheels (215/40/18)/(245/35/18) and I found a guy selling his RFT tires from his Mini Cooper (225/45/18). Will these fit my front wheels?

I just put the 225/245 RE050a combo on my Cabrio and I’m really happy with the handling and improvement in ride. This size should have been on the car from the factory.

Yeah, a bit less understeer. 225 and 245 is what the M240i has from the factory anyway.

I'm 225/45ZR17 all the way 'round. Wheels are 1/2" wider than stock, same offsets.
You should be able to run slightly wider tires on the same rims.

225 is the max for front without fender rolling. Even then you're probably maxing at 235. You'd need a wide body to fit 255 up front. Right now I have 225 front and 265 in the rear

On a 8.5" inch wheel 255 width is a pretty easy fit. You need camber plates. 9" inch wheel rubs but the half inch is worth it. Do some research on it
