tires for 128 non sport pkg?
Anybody try changing there size size for 128i non sport pkg?? I originally changed mine from the oem 205/50/17 to 215/50/17 on factory rims. I have since decided to go with a summer setup...18's with staggered 225 fronts/ and 255 Rears.
If interested in selling my 215/50/17's all season high performance Yokohama tires. check out link http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=663946 |

I have a 128 non sport and just installed some non run flat 18 inch 225/40 up front and 255/40 in the rear. It looks really great from the back but unfortunately it does Rub under heavy load in the back, as in heavy dips in the road only with 3 people in the car. If you plan on lowering in the future stick with 35 sidewall ratio in the rears. Hope that helps.

The factory 18" rears are 245/35-18. Upping the tire width and sidewall ratio will net an overall taller tire, so I'm not completely surprised that it's rubbing in the rear at times. Basically, ya gotta pick one or the other when upsizing the wheels
