Best camber angle for autocross and street
Hi all,
the car is on stock suspension and i like that way it handles and rides but for the autocross I would like to get a bit more grip up front. SO what is the best camber angle for this and for street use too. I only autocross once or twice a month so readjusting is not desired. Thanks! Every time I get bored with the car I take it to autocross and I fall in love all over again! |

I read here about -2º front and -1,5º rear.

If this is your daily driver and you're not running a square tire setup & rotating regularly, I would strongly recommend adjusting your camber when needed with a good set of plates.

Of course you cannot run both camber plates and M3 LCAs in STU....
I have the Vorshlag plates and I do adjust for max camber at my monthly auto-x, it's easy. I run a square setup of 265/35/18 Kumho XSs on 8.5" CSL reps, Hotchkiss FSB, Helene filter, and BMW performance exhaust |

Amen to that! I have 255 Z1's and they barely fit! That is with a roll in the front and plates at max neg. camber. I wonder how the Kuhmo's handle. I have never ran that tire...
I agree to the above comments... I use Vorshlag plates and adjust them at the event for max camber, then back to normal for driving around town (along with changing wheels)... I am right around -2.9 up front with my plates...
