Replacing expansion valve

I've been searching for a DIY but there is none. I can see the expansion valve (near the low pressure port) on the left side of the engine bay. Do I need to replace the whole dash board to get it out? Any info will be appreciated.

It can apparently be serviced entirely from the engine bay. Sorry, I don't know specifically how you do it. Although in my experience, it has always been unbolt and replace. Of course, after the system is evacuated.

I hope so, going to take out the cabin filter and cover tomorrow to get a closer look. Thanks!
