Post Carbon Blasting follow up...

Had it done in the beginning of the week, and now I ask what's the best way to keep the carbon from getting on the valves again? If it's impossible, then is there a way to slow down the progression?

A catch can and pcv valve upgrade will help, but there is no stopping it. It's the nature of not having fuel in the intake tract.

catch can will slow it down a lot - most of it comes from the PCV system blowing oil into the intake.. catch can catches most of the oil.

will still happen though.

I'm not sold a catch can does anything to prevent carbon build up. I did a walnut blast for a customer who had one installed after his last walnut blast and after 20k it still was bad
