Picked her up yesterday.

2013 135is with 38,600 miles. Previous owner did water pump, metal transmission pan and general maintenance. I have an appointment at a German automotive place on the 14th. So far, I am totally in love.

Nice. Didnt the iS come with a little badge on the dash?

Anyways, great car. And proper DCT One of the best DCT's ever made.

I can very highly recommand XHP tune for the box, if ONLY alone for being able to turn off Creep that BMW programmed in to make it mimic a torque converter auto (for whatever reason) maybe to keep the non-creep exclusive to the M-DCT (which is the same box internally).

However this means that every time you are at a standstill with engine running, the clucthes are being slipped. With creep off, they are hold open, which means way less wear on the clutches.

With Stage 3 the box truly shines with M3 GTS shift speeds and delicious throttle blip downshifts.

And stainless steel pedals and contrast stitching on the seats.

Regardless, nice car.

Stainless steel pedals were fitted to manual cars, but somehow, someway BMW decided to omit them from DCT car. Even the original brochure mentions them!

I retrofitted them myself as it wasn't too expensive and looks much better. Not to say the kickdown switch on the new unit it so much nicer to press.

Contrast stitching was an option on black leather (blue stitching, and matching black floortmats with blue seam)

I am the 4th owner and I assume that someone removed the badge from the dashboard. Thanks for the upgrade ideas.

Oh, yeah. Now I notice the black mirror caps as well.

Yeah it’s cool. Mine has it as well. We didn’t get the iS over here. We did get a late production Edition Sport, which has all the iS accessories, bar the performance upgrades. And “Edition BMW” doorsills instead of the ://M ones.

As far as I can tell with a VIN decoder, I have all the sport options. I didn’t see a badge delete option, but the rear badge is there. My window sticker mentions 313 wheels, sport seats, aluminum trim, M sport suspension, shadow line trim and M steering wheel as the ‘is’ configuration options.

Well that makes sense lol.

Just look through the bumper. If you have the iS you will have the extra coolant radiator on the left side.

Either way it's a nice model to have.

Looks like you have the M Perf exhaust, so that checks out.

Good call. Of course it could have been fitted later, but with all the other stuff, yeah that's probably stock.

IIRC iS didn't get blackline taillights, right?

Hello MParallel: nice to see you here. I did Nijmegan 4DAAGSE in 1999 and 2001. Yes, I'm really that old. Have had my 2008 128 for 15 years now.
