07 e92 question about LED angel eye upgrade
Guys I have a 2007 335 coupe, one of my angel eye bulbs is out. I realize that they make aftermarket LED upgrade kits which I think are cool but I don't know enough about them.
I like things to look stock. Personally when I see newer BMWs with LED angel eyes from the factory I think they look awesome. My question is, are here any aftermarket upgrade kits that will look like newer stock led angel eyes for my 07? Or will it look kind of ghetto and very aftermarket/ricerish? |

If you have projector headlights, there are so many options that look awesome. If you have halogen bulbs, there are a few options.

The aftermarket led bulbs will make the rings closer to the lci look however the outer rings will never be as bright as the inner ones. I had lux angel eyes before getting actual led rings installed. They were great and did not have any errors. One of the other issues it that they are harder to see during the day unless your are looking at a certain angle due to bmws design choices.

I have an 07 335i as well. If you are looking for a decent upgrade, the lux h8's are considered top of the line for the price. If you want your AE's to look like the current oem headlights, then you will need to send yours in to have them retrofitted. Unfortunately retrofitting is super expensive.
I just sent mine in to OSS (retrofitters) and have my Lux h8's in the For Sale Section of this forum now... |

Both these answers are what I wanted. See if the LED won't light up the outer rings as good and in daylight isn't as good and I need a retrofit it's not worth it to me.
Before you answered I researched a lot yesterday. Using super white H8 halogens seemed intriguing. Any thoughts on that? |

As someone who has halogens right now, is there any reasonable way to upgrade to Xenons? Ive seen the OEM xenon lights for a ridiculous amount of money. Does anyone know if any of the aftermarket Xenon headlights are any good?

Consider a projector upgrade with an HID Kit. I'm not allowed to post links or tell you to PM me and the competitors here are really picky about lending out information with a sales pitch. You know where to find me though if you need more info.
