Paddle Shifting

In my old days we would rev up the engine before downshifting. I was wondering how you perform a downshift and upshift w/DCT? Do you just click one up/down...? All comments welcome.

My biggest disappointment with the DCT is I can't really rev it at a light or driving slowly. You have to be in park or n, and your foot has to be on the brake to put it back in drive.

Yep, just pull the paddle (anytime) or bump the lever (while in S mode). The computer will take care of the throttle lift during upshifts and will rev-match on downshifts. Maybe it's not quite as fun as a proper manual, but shifts are lightning fast and the pops on upshifts sound great!

You can move from drive to neutral without touching the break. When I'm in a playful mood I move to nuetral rev it to hear pops and then when the revs come back down move it back to drive.
