I wanna go fast!!!
"I feel the need.... the need for speed." (Lame Top Gun reference)
But I want to do it legally. I know that there is more than a few of you 1 addicts out there that track your cars. I have never tracked a car and have no idea where to go. The only track that I know of in the Northern California area is Laguna Seca. I checked out the web site for Laguna Seca and it's crazy expensive because you rent out the whole facility instead of just buying a few laps. If anyone knows of any tracks around the SF bay area that won't put me in the poor house, please enlighten me. Till then I'll stick to running around on gokarts. |

Try going to https://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/calendar and searching for open track or drivers school type events near you.
Be warned, it is an extremely addictive habit. |

It doesnt work like the Nurburgring, you have to participate in a sponsored track day.

Hey guys jsut want to let you know that BRracing in Los Gatos has customer track days that they take all their customers to. I know it is a great expereience as I saw a lot of the customer cars getting prepped for the track days last time I visited.
They run at Thunderhill, Laguna and Sears. You might want to check with them for info. Have fun but know that once you turn down that alley there is no turning back! |
