best prices/quality sub installs in los angeles?
does anybody have any suggestions for a place that would do a really great, quality, and hopefully low priced sub purchase/install for my 1er?
i'm hoping to maybe throw a 12" in the trunk and keep the power running to the stock 8" subs, if that's possible. any other good ideas? i just want it to bump without getting too complicated or losing my ENTIRE trunk. |

The most straightforward audio upgrade would be to get a 5 channel amp and send maybe 40 watts to each speaker, 50 or 60 watts to each stock sub and add a 12" sealed speaker in your trunk for sub base. That whole setup including install shouldn't run you too much more than a grand, maybe close to 2k if you get a sound management processor like the 3sixty or JL CLeansweep.

heres what i plan on doing when i get my car. Im either going to go all out and get 2 10 inch w3 in a custom box with trim panels and drive it with a jl audio 500/1, or just get one jl audio 12 inch w5 and run it with the same amp. As far as prices go it will be about hte same for both. I have a very good audio shop in orange country. its the all and eds on katella they have done al my cars and give me great prices, plus they are always there for me when i need help.
