Hey so we got some really cool video from Sam @ Eurotuner Magazine. He wanted to stick his little video camera on our car on the last session of the day. This is from Super Lap Battle Finals @ Buttonwillow Raceway last week. Here it is:

I know it's a 135i but I thought you guys might be interesting to watch as it shares the same drivetrain.

thats awesome. he looks like a good driver. does having a camera and a mount like that effect any of the aerodynamics? may be a stupid question??

Sam @ Eurotuner mounted the camera. He wanted an outside view. I had our camera mounted in the cabin but forgot to turn it on hehe. We pulled an all nighter before the race so was a zombie all day.

We're very happy with our driver VJ Mirzayan. He's definitely very good. He took me out for a session last year and I was scared by how fast we would carry speeds into the turns. VJ's also very good with communication and giving feedback on the car so that we could make adjustments to the suspension/alignment and go faster.

Well, the camera and mount would cause drag, though not that much. If we were close to taking a win, we would not mount the camera outside. Every little bit helps. But it was the last session of the day so I let Sam mount the camera on the outside of the car.
