Why So FEW "BMW Performance" Parts for the N54 ?

Just curious...

I had a 2008 335i coupe (N54) now I have a 2010 135i coupe. I thought that this (N54) was the more "mod friendly" engine than the N55... Why is selection so anemic ?

Every seller that you ask about the possibility of product development seems to quote the market for the 1er being "too small".

Please read your OP and possibly re-phrase it since I don't think you are getting your point across. It seems like you are asking for BMW Performance parts but then you say something about the N54 being more mod friendly so I assumed you were talking about performance parts in general. Your 335i had the same engine.

This is very confusing...
