LED angel eyes blink at startup??

well I decided to change my angels with LED lights just wanted whiter rings, seller says normal, but his explanation was because these are LED they take very little voltage light them so they light up during the signal check, have any of you guys noticed this as well for those of you who have switched to LED Bulbs do the GP LED Thunders do this too??

it's a bulb check test, they flicker because LEDs need a ton less power to illuminate than halogen. if you turn off DRLs it doesn't happen. it's normal though i freaked out the first time i saw it haha

get it coded and it won't do that. It happened to me when I got my lux. I believe during start up even if your DRL are off they still flicker for a few seconds just to check the bulb

Lux H8 v3 don't flicker on start-up on my 09' E92 & there was no coding done...

If you have the angel eyes as DRL then you won't notice the flicker because the lights will be on. You only notice LEDs flicker if the light is off and the car is doing the bulb check.

Yea got the v2 and it freaked me out at first. but i was told any led flickers. so just got used to it.

They flicker in my 2011 E90 though.

Mine flicker for a few seconds at startup too.

mine was doing the same every start-up. one of them went out last week. now gearing to replace both. it has only been a year or so since I installed the led bulbs.

Very normal I believe all leds will flicker from the bulb check

Thanks for the input guys thought they were just crap LEDs lol, anyone know a local coder so I can have them set to DRLs
