Quad exhaust ideas

Good day, I've just ordered the Rwcarbon quad splitter for my 135i since I've always wanted a quad exhaust for it and I finally put aside some funds for it. Now from a few videos and threads I've seen a few different ways that it's been done since there's a tight working space and considerations to be given for the charcoal canister.

I currently have a performance exhaust and I'd like to somehow keep it on. Any experience on here?

Charcoal canister can be relocated to the rear subframe area. Then run your quad through the tunnel and then split by the high points between subframe and arms.

At least that's what my exhaust fab guy did. This retained 1M tip spacing for my clone.

An off the shelf kit that works for the wide (read non-1M) quad tip spacing is Remus. Check that out.

Yeah the Rwcarbon Diffuser is the wide spacing so I'll be going that route. Remus seems to be sold out everywhere and not in manufacturing anymore so it looks like I'm going custom unless someone wants to sell me there's.

Supersprint is another option but it's overpriced for such a tiny looking quad pipe.

More so that Remus was well designed and plenty of photos available. Any competent exhaust shop should be able to replicate it using vibrant or magnaflow etc parts.

I would say that quad in that format is just for looks. If you want something that's functional you'll need a straight through system.

Do you have pics of your relocated canister?
