Studded winter tires for Montreal area driving ???
My first winter with my 135i is coming ...
I'm wondering if i should get studless or studded tires ... ?? hmmm...

First winter with my 135i as well.
I got Nokian Hakka 5 (basically the best winter tires around). I got them studless, but I guess if you want the most traction, studded is the way to go. I would have got studded, but most indoor parking downtown Montreal doesn't allow studded tires. |

I'm scared of the dry conditions paired with the studded.... apparently they can be quite slippery when braking on dry roads...
+1 for the parkings ! Can i ask you where and how much did you pay ? what size ? on stock rims ? thank for the tips !

I have a full set for sale ready to bolt on check the wheels and tires for sale section for pics and price. Winter is coming and this year i am parking mine so no need for these.
