Aero: Rear Diffuser and Canards...?
Hey Guys,
Looking for options on aggressive aero, specifically rear diffusers and bumper canards. I really like the look of some of the rear diffuser's out there for other BMW chassis. I cannot seem to locate many options at all along the lines of what I like though for our 1er's. Here are a couple links to along the ideas of what I like or am even entertaining trying on the 1 series fitment, but I think it's a roll of the dice if I were to purchase one of the other chassis fitments and hope it will work on the 1. I emailed ER about their rear diffuser setup or if they'd fab it but nobody responded to me. Does anyone make a specific e82 aggressive rear diffuser?? Also thoughts on using an e9x platform from canard setup? The front bumper profiles are similar in some regards. Or there are the APR universal fit canards as an option too. A few links below to what I like. http://mateomotorsports.com/product/...ffuser-non-m3/ http://photos.motoiq.com/MotoIQ/Feat...20_VTbvJ-L.jpg https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...10490287992375 Any options that you guys have seen, or links to homemade would be great. 1Addicts search results didn't provide me with many options... |

Update: I received a response from MKAH Motorsports.
'Thank you for your interest. It can be mocked up on pretty much any BMW if you are handy. If you like to tinker, I would definitely try it!' http://mkahmotorsports.com/e36-rear-diffuser/ I think I may give this a go over the winter. I'll post up pics and keep you guys posted. |
