Super RB Evo's Details Releaseds

Alright boys and girls,

At some other forum, the Super RB Evo's and associated kit have been unvailed.

Who's game to roll the RHD fitment dice?

Rob said he had made allowances for RHD customers but would require some work to make it fit.

all he said on the other forum was no guarantees, he hasn't looked at it at all

that said... as long as the turbos bolt up, there'll be a way.

I'm sure Rob would provide a money back refund if they prove that they don't fit, he's a stand up guy.

I'm sure he would be keen to do the 'R&D' so he knows if he can market these to fit RHD applications and thus by doing so potentially broaden his customer portfolio for his newly released product!

Fitment of the plumbing will be the issue, I believe the rear turbo outlets will be the major problem as we, RHD fellas have the steering coloum to deal with.

Rob is making a charge pipe to suit RHD.
I'm hoping to test them I've asked 11 times.

There are only 2 rhd sets that have been made.

One in Australia and one in south Africa.

I know the Australian has his set delivered but not yet installed.

I should have evos in 3-4 weeks and I will provide logs and partial diy on the install.

I wouldn't buy an RB turbo given the first chunk of change for RBs resulted in lots of smoke and crapped out turbos under 3000km with not an utterance from RB.

PISS POOR PRODUCT

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL

I've seen your smoking rb thread and heard 90% had issues with rbs from advan.

It's not good that you have had a falling out.

All I'm interested in is good power.

I've had cheap changerovers and great performance each time.

With the evos going over 130mph at the 1/4 mile I'm more then keen to put them in.

Lack of all communication and customer support is not a falling out. That would require a response.

I am not the only one in this boat, in Oz or the US. Somoking RBs are not just a local issue.
Many have stayed quiet in the forlorn hope that they will be looked after as they should be.
Some have gone back to the RB trough more than once only to be screwed twice by the same problem.

NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE JUMPING UP AND DOWN FOR THEIR CONSUMER RIGHTS

My RBs made good power for around 1500kms. A lot of coin for an obviously defective and dubious performance product.

Stock turbos took far more punishment than RBs. In fact there was nothing wrong with my stock snails and they were pushed to 300rwkw for years.

You can't gloss over unaccepatble business behaviour and poor product runs.

My money and many others wont go to RB with just cause.

Yeah he definitely went AWOL when everyone started having issues... This is when a person's business ethic's is truly tested and RB's reputation isn't worth a pinch of a sh!t as far as I'm concerned after these incidents where guys drop big $ on his products then doesn't support his product, affiliated workshops or customers...

What turbo's are you going to go with?

You have made your self pretty clear in a heap of threads.

A RHD EVO set has been installed in south africa.

First set with RHD outlets too so the data will be good to see.

Not sure when the other Australia guy is installing but i know he has them.

If everyones worried about buying rbs the other 2+ types with outlets might perform as well as the evos.

Should be 1 or 2 dynos put up soon of the evos.

One just did 535hp at 17psi.

Not sure on fuel or tune but its pretty high for 17 psi.
