Question to Owners of 1M from friend of biglare Re: Tires
Hello,
This is my first post on the forum. I'm a good friend of biglare (just search these forums if you don't know who he is). I have a question for owners or people who have driven the 1M. I'm toying with the idea of replacing my Civic Si with the 1M (if I can find one, right?) I also own a E90 330i and a 2008 Porsche Cayman S Sport, which you can find more details here on the Cayman (and she handles as good as all the reviews say): http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-boxst...leaned-up.html Background: You can read more details of my review of the 1M here: Post 175 and 179 http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-boxst...tml#post548303 http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-boxst...tml#post550042 I loved the 1M overall. But as you see in my post I did not like the way the tires felt. Also notice my comment about the slight shift or nudge when going into a corner with speed. So my question to only the owners of the 1M. Have you experienced the same / noticed this? Have you adjusted? Replaced tires? I'm not wanting a which is better thread. Let's keep this just to the 1M tires. Thanks. Andrew |

I couldn't get your reviews to load for some reason but I had the opportunity to do a little track time on a 1M at PDC a couple of days ago and the tires felt great. I was shocked at how well they gripped around corners, really amazing. And on the 600 mile drive home to Maryland, they were quiet and very smooth. So no issues I could find, great tires.
