Flooding in Germany - June 2013
Anyone know if the flooding in Germany has/will affect production in Leipzig? The plant is on the Rhine, I believe. Just wondering if there have been whispers of production delays either for BMW directly or for any suppliers. Also, best wishes for all in Germany dealing with the flooding.

Noop. No flooding in Leipzig. Most of the flooding is in the South Eastern parts of the country, near Cheimsee, Regensburg and Passau. I think Dresden might be in for it too.
Leipzig is not in harms way, nor is Leipzig near the Rhine river. https://maps.google.de/maps?q=BMW-Al...Allee&t=m&z=10 It is the rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers that are overflowing. http://www.focus.de/panorama/videos/...vid_39286.html

Thanks. I had weak Google-Fu on my iPhone... just searched "Leipzig" and "Flooding"... looked at the partial hits and then posted. Feeling embarrassed now for my geographic illiteracy, but not for my concern for all affected.
