DIY: Fixing peeling steering wheel trim in 8 minutes - review too

I was going to take off my steering wheel trim piece and paint it or wrap it with vinyl. I then saw trim covers on AliExpress and thought I'd give it a try.

I went for the plain matte black (though of carbon fiber, but didn't want it looking "fake").

Literally all you do is peel off the 3m tape on the back, carefully position it, then press it on well. As long as you don't grab the steering wheel in an abnormal way, you'll not even know it's there. I think it looks really good.

Interesting - thanks for sharing! My wheel is starting to bubble in those areas, so peeling can't be far away.
