Working on camshaft bolts Torque wrench question about NM with degrees

ANY MECHANICS?
What do you do if you over torque bolts? camshaft bolts for instance.
1st step 8NM (5.900497ftlbs)
2nd step 60°

I'm slow with my electronic torque wrench but after the 2nd step it tells me I'm 20-21ftlbs
And I may have tightened just a hair over 8NM, is that usually a problem?
