How to get some nice induction noise?
I recently opened up my air box and put a new air filter in there, I decided while I’m at it I’ll hear what a rev sounds like without the top of the air box and it sounded pretty dam nice, the induction noise is great, now I want some of that noise but I’m very aware that any of the Cai kits are 1. Expensive and 2 don’t work in fact probably even work less good than stock, and I can’t just leave the top off, that’ll also be worse.
Any suggestions? |

Interesting. Do you have a conical filter in it too? Apparently you got the "euro" intake, as it's different to what the 128i got here in the US. Many over here install those plus a silicone intake tube/boot and call it a day. Just find a N52 Silicone intake boot in a color you like. I had one and it did help with some induction noise and growl. I have the aFe Power CAI kit, yes it is pricey but sounds awesome. Unfortunately you have to pay to play.
tl;dr either get the silicone tube or save money and get a quality CAI.
