I've got one and it s a noticeable mod, for the better. I do however fail to see why people thought the valve in the first place was such a terrible thing. Maybe some people drive differently? Anyway for a small outlay the gearchange is smoother and quicker.

I've got it and prefer it.
There is a noticeable change, but only on had aggressive gear changes. With normal everyday driving there is no difference. But, if you are having some serious fun and trying to accelerate through the gears at 100% there is a big difference as there is no delay in the gearchanges. 1st to 2nd to 3rd is noticeably smoother. However, I have noticed (on a personal track) that high revs, flat out 3rd to 4th that there is still a delay or slight pause but I think that I have identified that problem to the notorious weak N54 fuel pump, which can struggle at high speeds and revs.

I should add that for a £35 mod including installation it was a no brainer for me.
