panic option?

Hi guys,
I have a 128i and it doesn't seem to have the panic option for when you forget where you parked your car?
I think you're supposed to hold the trunk button on the key fob but it doesn't work.
I assumed all cars today have panic option but I guess I was wrong..
Is my panic broken or do I just not have it?

You need to have the optional alarm system installed for the 'panic mode' feature. However, there are other ways to find your car in the parkade.
