info on decat please
so i have done plenty of reading on the n55 and what mods i want to do, cattless downpipes, with not to an offensive exhaust, wagner front mount inter-cooler and to finish it off cobb access port which is supported for my 2011.
the question is i am aware that it will throw codes and a dash light but does the car alter the fueling trying to achieve the sort off readings the o2 sensors should be getting, IE not running optimum fueling. |

The car won't alter fueling because you removed emissions scrubbers, remember it's exhaust we're talking about, so by the time the gasses have entered the downpipe "they are what they are". AFRs should not change when you go catless, the lambda o2 is precat regardless, so it'll be reading the same value whether you have OE or aftermarket downpipes. The code is from the (lack of) cat readyness, the major tunes will autoclear it so you won't have the codes and lights popping up.
