iDrive screen anti-glare coating / iDrive removal

I'm about to remove the iDrive case and then extract the nav screen to remove the anti-glare coating which is all scratched up and shitty looking. Any gotchas to look out for beforehand? Is the removal of the nav screen from the iDrive case pretty straightforward? I have some polish that should remove the anti-glare coating, and will place a screen protector on screen afterward

Just looking for any tips/tricks beforehand, tnx!
