Just got back from the show. This was my first C&C and I was really surprised by how many people were there. Not sure if that's typical.
Here are my favorites: 911 Speedster. Was really surprised to see a car this rare at the show. 2-week old 1M. Love the valencia orange. Is the owner here on the forum? Aston Martin Rapide. This is the first one I've seen. Porsche 1600 -- probably my favorite at the show. Really cool headlight covers. Detomoso Pantera. This thing looked ridiculous in person Porsche 356. Loved the luggage rack. Baby seat in an m-coupe. Made me laugh. AMC Gremlin. Loved the sunscreen. Jaguar E-Type engine bay. Not my cup of tea... Assuming this was duttch's. Nice to see the forum stickers. This must have been dsc201knoc's. And finally, my 135 at the very edge of the show. The full set can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gryffin...7627583731336/ |

Thanks for update with the great pics, i was there around 9.00 till 10.30
This was my third visit over there and the most crowded one also. And i missed that nice M1 did not open my eyes enough i guess. Did not see yours only the red 135 from Damon, only i did not see him around. And yes that was my conv. with the forum logo on the side window. Hope to be back next month. Ron

I talked to the guy with the 1M, older guy really nice. I saw you pull in with the Black 135, but i don think i saw you.
I know of the pink painted accessorized car. Not really my thing either. That was my car you spotted , this was also my first time heading over there. We went over to Bimmer Performance Center after we were done at the get together. Quote:

Looks like a good time. I have been to the Charlotte C&C quite a few times but have yet to do the Raleigh one. Hopefully next month I'll be able to make it now that I've relocated to the Triangle area.

How far is Raleigh from Elon? I'll be at Elon Thursday and Raleigh Friday for DayGlow. Any other forum members hitting that up. And if you see a white 1st with red rims this coming weekend in Raleigh, that's me!

Hey Duttch, if you google DayGlow and click the first link for tickets, they only have GA left and it comes out to 44.16 or right around there. I just got mine and you should still be able to get some. I can't get too painted bc I gotta get back in the whip and drive back to school in Blacksburg! Lol. Should make for a great night though, only downer is I heard it end at 10 bc of noise ordinance laws in Raleigh. It's at the Amphitheater
