1M Option packages, yea or nea?
I am at the critical time of picking the accessories for my 1M. I am going to skip the nav, but I am on the fence about the premium package. All I really want are heated seats, HK and iPod attach.
Is anyone regretting not getting the premium? For you guys that got the premium, do you like it enough to make it worth the cost? Thanks guys! |

My car is being spec'd exactly that way: heated seats, HK, BT/USB. I love gadgets but I plan to keep the car for a long time and believe that the techno-wizardry will eventually fail and become a liability. Plus, I don't want any incentive to become distracted behind the wheel.

Other poster is right, more stuff to fail, a little heavier and most of all, you see people griping about the seats sitting to high. The motor seats sit 1 1/2 inch taller. I also put people in the back seat every day and the manual seats slide back and forth faster than motor seats. Good luck! |

It's funny. As much as I've been wanting to go minimum on the tech, the Premium package is tempting. If only it included Comfort Access!

Been meaning to bring the car by your shop but have been super-busy. I think I'll have time on Wednesday. |

I did not get premium. Mine is a stripper, but if I was in your shoes, I would get the HK for sure. I did Euro delivery, had to pay over MSRP for the car and travel at peak time. By the time they got you for $875 plus the $400 mandatory iPod (with HK), it was almost $1300 more for HK since I don't even have an iPod. That was 4 days in Venice with my wife! I chose the 4 extra days with the wife. You on the other hand have an iPod and I found the base stereo OK but underwhelming over the exhaust note so I while I still would take the 4 days in Venice with the wife, I do wish I would've gotten HK. HK, Heated Seats and Ipod sounds brilliant to me. Any car guy loves good tunes and the heated seats make the girls want to ride in your loud and stiff car.
