You haven't had a good run hey, started off well, then the knocking, the shake and roll motion sickness, now your head.......We have a year before the euro drive, you should be all good to go by then Fingers crossed nothing more than the undercover tray mate, I think you would have noticed on the drive home if there was anything significant. |

I was actually happy that it poured with rain the whole way back to London as it meant all the sheep poo was washed away from the wheel well and tyres. All the bugs were washed off too! |

Sounds like you kids had fun. Good to hear about the war wounds. Better to scuff a rim from a flat out drive than say curb it Sainsbury's.

The starting point.......The calm before the 1M storm!
Descending on the first Shell servo for a tank of optimax. The start of the M adventure. First way point Making tracks for way point 2 Stopped off for a wedding Way point 2 and the group has split in half.... Way point 3 Way point 4 Way point 5 and working out where the rest of the group would be now lol and poor Matt feeling a little worse for wear, think sea sickness Way point 6 The strange lady who wanted to know why we all had the same car Lunch way point 7 and the group finally meets up bar 1..... Most of the group now together and descending on Snowdonia After a goods night rest and a nice breakfast we make way for the evo triangle Welshpool And the great drive home through the Brecon Beacons |

Great stuff. Would have been even more impressive if the journey had taken place one month later, when Autumn truly kicks in (however, with more treacherous road conditions). I always enjoy going for a stroll in the woods during that small time window of a few days, featuring the breath taking color bonanza of leave colors turned to all sorts of brown, orange and red, the sound of walking over leaves, the smell of damp woods: a joy for the senses - some sort of synesthesia.
The picture below that you made has an amazing color variation: all sorts of green, a blue backdrop and two delicate orange dots: I hope you don't mind that I borrowed picture #5 for another thread: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...&postcount=132

Yeah I don't think I would want to be giving it to much beans on those roads in a months or so time, even the above, the pic doesn't show how steep the hill was coming into that bend, caught a couple of us out with an old brick wall that appeared to come very close at a rapid pace |
